Sunrise & Sunset Tour Itinerary:
Hire Akamai Adventures helping you escape the crowds, and explore the hidden treasures while viewing uninterrupted wildlife including, but not limited to: bald eagles, black bears, grizzly bears, bison, elk, moose, mule deer, pronghorn antelope, trumpeter swans, wolves and possibly more!!!!  Exploring during the Sunrise and Sunset hours ensures great wildlife viewing without the crowds; a true making for a very intimate experience, not to mention subpreme lighting for amazing pictures... 

Your Adventure will start with a pick up from your overnight accommodation (servicing Fremont County ID, Teton Valley, ID and West Yellowstone MT) or a predetermined location.  As we explore the YNP we will try our best to avoid the crowds, scout wildlife and visit many thermal attractions.  Throughout the excursion your guide will share about the ecology and the geothermal processes, the history of Yellowstone, ecology, geology and animal behavior.  Understanding the sights you are exploring will help you gain a deeper connection to your experience and the land which you are exploring.

Tour duration is 6.5-8 hours.  Start & End Times are flexible, but we recommend
Sunrise:  Starts at 5:30 AM, and ends around 1:30 PM
Sunset:  Starts around 1-2 PM and ends around 10:30 PM

Costs:  $235.00 Per Adult and $225.00 Per Child (15 years old or younger).

All tours include a naturalists guide, transportation from your overnight lodging in comfortable 2018 Toyota Sienna Minivan, binoculars, locally produced snacks & bottled water.  Tour does NOT include Yellowstone National Park Entrance Fee, lunch or guide gratuity.  Though lunch is not included, we provide ample opportunity to catch a meal of your choice or option to bring a lunch with you, allowing more time to explore, rather than stopping for a meal.

Tour duration is 10-13 hours, varies due to traffic and how much time is spent off trail exploring.  Start & End Times are flexible, but we recommend starting as early as 5:30 AM and as late as 8:00 AM.  Ending around 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM; depends upon your chosen start time and variables such as traffic beyond our control.  

Costs:  $325.00 Per Adult and $315.00 Per Child (15 years old or younger).

Discover the geology & mythology of the most active volcano on earth. Tour will consists of the highlights of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park starting at the Thomas A. Jaggar Museum for lava viewing, continuing around the crater rim. We have special permits to access the most spectacular areas of the park!! Hike off the beaten path Mauna Ulu or Kilauea Iki to mention a few spectacular hikes.  All tours are private and exclusive, however most affordable when compared to ANY other company on island.  Now that's Akamai (Smart)!!!  Trip rate ranges from $85.00 - $150.00 per person dependent upon group size & chosen duration.

Lava Ocean Entry Kalapana Hawaii post 2018 eruption, HawaiiOcean Entry Lava Flow Hike:  
 Experience the Active Kilauea Volcano from inside the HVNP at the Kilauea Summit to the Kai (ocean)!  Feel the heat of the lava, first-hand from Kilauea volcano on this private guided lava tour.  We will keep you safe, teach you about the land, history and culture while having a blast! This is one of the only places on earth one can get so close to flowing lava, but yet be so safe! 

This lava adventure includes all the highlights of the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, and then head down the Chain of Craters Road to the ocean. Hike through the lava fields along the sea cliffs to active flowing lava. Scout for hot spots and feel the mana (power) of pure molten lava flows as they make their way to the sea.
Today this hike is an 8-10 mile round trip hike along a gravel road and across uneven rocky terrain. Your safety is our top priority!  All clients are expected to follow the guide’s instructions,  this tour is our most strenuous and requires an age requirement of 10 years old or older.  Price per Person $185.00 (Minimum age 10 years old)
Start times:  Sunrise Lava Hike 3:00 AM or Evening Lava Hike 3:00 PM.

Volcano Adventure with Private Cave Tour: 
This tour brings you to the highlights of the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The Kazumura Cave is five miles outside of HVNP on private property.   Kazumura Cave is the longest cave in the state at 40.7 miles (65.5 km) surveyed, it's the longest known continuous lava tube in the world, and the DEEPEST cave in the UNITED STATES at 3613 feet. This tour is guided by a lava tube expert whom also is an accomplished caving author. No children under 12--price includes park entrance and caving equipment, however certain attire must be worn.

This tour will start off at Queen Lili'uokalani Gardens,then exploring the black sand beach in search of Honu, endangered green sea turtles, next onto the gorgeous Hamakua Coast. Beautiful Onomea Bay  with option of hiking down to bay. The scenic drive brings us to Honomu Town for food and shopping and then a beautiful rainforest walk at spectacular 'Akaka Falls!!!
